The Middle of Change

Intensive for Teams

A 90-minute guided reset for teams navigating change, burnout, and transition — without panic, urgency, or self-abandonment.

REGULATE | CLARIFY | ACT

When teams are in the middle of change collectively and no one names it, the culture fills the silence with urgency, blame, or avoidance. The Middle of Change Intensive gives your team language for where they are, a calmer nervous system, values clarity, and one aligned next step.

What your team leaves with.

Language

Specific, grounded language for the phase they are in and  language that reduces shame and restores perspective.

A calmer nervous system

A lived experience of regulation, not just knowledge of it. Two grounding tools they can use independently.

Values clarity

Answers to five reflection questions that separate what they are experiencing from the story they have been telling about it.

One aligned next step

One honest, do-able, values-based action committed to before they leave the room. Written down. Named.

Who this is for.

The Middle of Change Intensive for Teams is built for:

01

Healthcare organizations

Teams carrying compounding stress, role strain, and collective burnout without shared language for what is happening.

02

Universities and academic institutions

Faculty, staff, and student-facing teams in institutional transition or culture change.

03

Faith organizations and churches

Congregations, ministry teams, and faith-based nonprofits navigating institutional change, leadership transitions, or community grief.

04

Nonprofits and community organizations

Mission-driven teams navigating funding shifts, leadership changes, or organizational identity questions.

05

Women's leadership groups

Professional and community groups navigating identity, career, and life role shifts simultaneously.

The next step is a 20-minute conversation.

Not a proposal. Not a pitch. A conversation to find out if this is the right fit for your team, your timing, and your budget.

Frequently asked questions

  • What is the Middle of Change Intensive?

The Middle of Change Intensive is a 90-minute in-person guided experience built on three principles: Regulate. Clarify. Act. Participants leave with language for where they are, a calmer nervous system, clarity on what matters, and one aligned next step. It is available for individuals, helping professionals, and organizational teams. It is not therapy. It is mental health education — grounded in clinical evidence, designed for the middle of change.

  • How do I know if I need a workbook or a therapy session?

Our workbooks are excellent self-guided tools for "orientation" and personal reflection. However, if you find that your distress is impacting your daily functioning, or if you are navigating deep-seated grief and trauma, individual or group therapy provides the professional, clinical support and personalized intervention needed for lasting healing.

  • Do you work with organizations and teams?

Yes. The Middle of Change Intensive for Teams is a 90-minute in-person experience for organizations navigating change, burnout, or transition. We work with healthcare organizations, nonprofits, universities, faith communities, and women's leadership groups. Organizational engagements start at $1,500 for a pilot session. See the For Organizations page for more information or schedule a conversation.

  • How do I get started?

The best first step depends on where you are. If you want to understand your phase in the middle of change, take the free quiz at nextacttherapy.com/quiz.
